Dear friends! We are happy to invite you to the Third International Contact Improvisation and Performance Festival!
Dates: 12-20 July 2008.
Every year we improve the Festival!
We bring back the idea of research laboratories, which we had on the festival 2006. This year we were missing that creative magic chaos. We want participants to be drivers of these labs.
We are interested to go on experimenting with jams. We are now infected with beautiful high quality jams.
The festival will start with teachers’ performance. This performance is an invitation for the participants to begin with celebration and meet teachers.
In 2008 4 Russian teachers will lead classes. For us it’s exciting and challenging.
Our interest is to create space where people become happier. We invite you to this space.

Festival structure:

• July 12 - Teachers' performance in Theatre of THE MEYERHOLD CENTRE. Participants are invited free of charge!
• July 13 - participants arrival and registration, festival opening. Jam
• July 14-15-16 - first three days of intensives, classes and performance research labs.
• July 17 - day off and evening OPEN JAM.
• July 18-19 - intensives and classes resume, closing circle on 19th night.
• July 20 - good-bye jam and departure of participants.

We will find you where to stay on 12th night after teachers' performance, please come on 12th!

In addition to the festival itself we organize TWO workshops in Moscow:

• July 5-8 - workshop for beginners with Mirva Makinen.
• July 23-27 - workshop for advanced CI dancers with Alexandra Soshnikova and Sergey Golovnya.
