About masterclass:

We will begin by giving attention to different fields of perception (mood, hearing, touch, vision, balance) to deepen into solo movement. From this ‘integrated’ sense of self we’ll meet others with new curiosity. We’ll play with tipping off centre and falling into our partner to build trust and confidence in our dancing. As we move into open dancing we’ll use the ‘lenses’ of sight and touch we will explore the interplay between perception and action.

About Robert Anderson:

Robert Anderson is an independent dance artist based in London. He teaches improvisation and contact improvisation in a variety of contexts in the UK and abroad. He has been passionately involved with CI since 1996, organising and facilitating classes, jams and workshops in London. He currently performs with Touchdown Dance. He has also performed in works by Kate Brown, Tino Seghal, Jovair Longo, Lalitaraja, Megan Flannigan and Sarah Shorten.
